At Crooked Creek, Nick teaches across all levels and works directly alongside Nanely DeMartini on the High Performance program. He moved to Atlanta to join the Crooked Creek community.
Nick grew up in North Carolina and came up through its junior ranks: High School Singles State Champion, two-time Doubles State Champion, and a top-15 state ranking while training at the high-performance level. He played Division I tennis at Winston-Salem State University, then transferred to Palm Beach Atlantic University, a top-10 Division II program.
His first two coaching posts were Van Der Meer Tennis in Hilton Head and the Snowmass Club in Aspen. He went home to North Carolina for his first directorship, at Cross Creek Country Club, where he led all racquet sports programming for five years. He then spent five years as Head Tennis Professional at Bermuda Run Country Club, directing adult programming, ladies clinics and competitive junior development.
